A BLOSSOM THROUGH OBLIVION

Whatever forgotten has a story to tell.

Whether it's a person or a building or it's just something that's been sidelined for a while.
A story from the past. Forgotten by many, maybe even by everyone. Like an old building. Abandoned, dilapidated,
disintegrated by time. Patiently waiting for a vivifying breath to come and break the monotony of oblivion.

And let the frozen time begin to flow again. Not like before. That's impossible, but like now. And that is enough.

Twelve ceramic tiles, each individually painted and signed, have been affixed to twelve ruins of Hermoupolis, as a sign of hope where inaction reigns, both in the buildings themselves and in the people.

An idea that started on paper and ended up on the street, using the tile as a medium and the architecture of the dilapidated buildings as a canvas for the installation. On the street it passed to have a voice and to speak.
To communicate with the world. To converse with the buildings themselves, their history, the people who lived there before they were abandoned. To recall events and situations forgotten. Words that were never spoken and never acted upon. Moments that have passed and that time no longer brings back.
